High idle & stumble under heavy acceleration.

Sorry to be asking the same old questions but I couldn't find any answers to my question while searching. Would a leak in the intake system show as a boost leak under higher boost and a vacuum leak while at idle? I am new the turbo world but I have done plenty of N/A engine work. The problem I am having is I get to @ 10psi boost and the car stumbles. At idle the car hangs at 1300-1500 rpms. I have yet to do the boost leak check, I just want to see if I'm heading in the right direction. Thanks for any info.

Start with a boost leak test like you said this is the first course of action with MAF based dsm's
