never got a defenite answer on this..was there ever black OEM carpet?

also does anyone ahve good experience with aftermarket carpet from anywhere?

I don't know- the '95 dealer brochure show "Gray" and "Brownstone" for "Interior Trim" colors.

There's always someone selling new, formed and padded carpet on eBay for about $100.

ACC's carpet fits pretty good. You just have to take your time and trim it properly.

I got my black carpet from accmats.com. It takes awhile to trim it out but fits pretty damn good. On my first cut with a utility knife I slipped and stabbed myself in the foot so take it from me "cut away from yourself" I paid about $85 for the carpet and got the hatch rug for about $25.

geekyguru, has like cartoon blue in his car, I bet he knows someone that can do black carpet. and yes cut away my buddy is missing half a finger from trying to do some vinyl in his old integra

My dad installs carpet in peoples houses and I used to help him all the time. I am very handy with a doubled sided balde and utility knife, plus the whole cutting carpet comes easily. KEEP YOU HAND ABOVE WHERE YOU ARE CUTTING AND CUT AWAY FROM IT!!!

I painted my grey 1G carpet black with carpet paint for cars. Looks nice too. I did the side panels, center console panels, rear carpet, and back of the seats.
