Bigger turbo yay or nay?

im also looking for a 20g turbo.......i only find the fake ones on ebay. Has anyone tried one of those out?

I wouldn't even consider to ask about EBAY knock off turbos. They are generally crap.

Over 400whp setups:

--Several here: Holset turbos results thread
--2.0L motor with boltons, 26psi with race fuel
--2.0L 9:1 pistons, 272s, stock intake/exhaust manifold, only 26psi letting off the air pedal at 6500rpms on the dyno for some reason.

I was leaning towards a 20g also. I looked around for weeks. I couldnt find one new for under $1100! I ended up getting a PTE 5031. I got a great deal on it. I paid 450 for it shipped. It has a bit of shaft play, but nothing Im worrying about just yet. You can easily get a good used 50 trim for 5-600 and then buy your new lines, and you probably would still be under what the cost of a 20g is. The 20g is great and a very durable turbo, I imagine, being as its a mhi product. I think the price is WAY too steep though!
