Bigger injectors for stock turbo?

Hey guys,
My car is pretty modded for stage 1 and i'm ready to buy a new turbo (EVO III big 16g). I have a FMIC that i just got but it's not in yet. I have all this free air+ mods and my injectors are starting to go. I only have enough money to get either the 1) turbo, or 2) bigger injectors and apexi safc 2. Which do you suggest that i get? is my question. If i need injectors which should i go with?
Also.....can i get bigger injectors and still tune it for my stock turbo. Any advice and experience would be great. Thanks
 
Id get the injectors first, then you will have them for when you get the 16g.

Size depends on what your plans are with the 16g. To get its full power potential, you will want 650's. I ran 16 psi with 550s and was happy, but wasnt looking to push the turbo to its limits either.

With the stock turbo, and all supporting mods for a bigger turbo, you will be able to turn up your boost alittle. And yes, you will be able to tune it for the stock turbo.
 
I would screw teh SAFC for now and try and snag an eprom, then you can get biger injectors and just get a chip for the eprom, if you wanna run much more than highpsi I would get 650's or 720's, and probably look at getting a fuel pump

Buddy with an EVO 3 runs 22 psi daily with 550's.. Another guy I know runs 24 psi on a FP Red with 550's. LOL. 120 injector duty. They can be pushed but I do not advise it. yes both cars 550's are out the window.

I ran alittle higher boost once or twice but its a daily driver car so 16psi worked for me. LOL!
 
whats the injector duty on your injectors now? if you dont max them out every day i agree with highpsi92gst and canadiantsi just save until you can get both the wait will suck but waiting will save $$$ on geting it tuned for the t25 and then having to retune for the 16g when you get it
 
Both of the choices you gave will be pretty weak until you have both. If you can't wait and purchase everything at once, get the turbo and the S-AFC. Stock injectors go quite a bit farther than most people realize. Do you have a logger?
