Ok, here's the deal guys:
I got a 96 Talon AWD, now this thing has been babied through the first 76k miles of it's life, and now at 87k it's taken a lil abuse from it's current driver (Me) but still runs well, or so I thought. I recently did a compression test and found that I had 155, 140, 133, and 145. Now this is really low and there's a 22 PSI difference between the number 1 cylinder and the number 3 cylinder. It's also burning oil bit by bit, so I'm guessing the rings are going on all cylinders. So, I'm really looking at what my options are now. What do you all suggest? Do I do a rebuild, do I sell it, do I go and buy a brand new engine? Right now I'm just kinda feeling around for a popular concensus. I am about to goto college so money is kinda tight, so if I did decide to do a rebuild, how much do ya think it would run me overall? Thats it, Thanks for the help guys!
