So. After getting ####3d on deals left and right, i finally stumbled into some very good ones. First was a FP3052 setup from a good guy named Chris on the forums.

Amazing turbo setup. Sold my DNP and got a good deal on a FP race manifold. Ceramic coated that and am going to send the turbo in for the HTA upgrade. Upgrade will be much better for the next amazing deal i got. :sneaky:

I found argualby the best deal ive ever gotten. After getting dicked over on a crank with a bad thrust, i found a complete g4cs block and head for 360 bucks in Toledo Oh. 2 and half hours later, i owned the cleanest, lowest mile 2.4 block ever to go into a dsm. It was in storage for over 15 years, still had perfect cross hatching, super clean crank, and perfect bearings. Cleaned it up with some solvent, and its looked BRAND NEW! :D So fricking happy.

Took the block and crank to the machine shop this morning before work and he was impressed. Its getting fully worked. Wiesco pistons, manley rods, ARP studs all around, torque plate, line hone, girdled, and assembled. Cant wait to bring it home!!! :thumb: Pics soon to come.

Good find man! Good things come in due time. I've been ripped off three times via online purchases but at the same token I've gotten a lot of stuff for free or very, very cheap. Some prices on BNIB parts I get are so cheap you'd think it was a used part price. Keep your head up and SEARCH, don't just buy the first thing you see.

Is it going to be a DD that you take to the track? If I had that block and some more cash, I would build it for roadraceing

No. I dont want to take it to the track very often if at all. Its a DD. I do want to take it to Mid ohio. The brakes are upgraded, but the suspension will be stock with lowering springs and some freshening, but thats about it.

The car will mainly be a highway slut part time v8 killer. :thumb:

Thanks. I do. Never let it put me down. I sometimes want to get rid of it, but i cant. I have so much time and money involved to back down now.

IVe changed my mind so many times but i think i will have finally gotten what i wanted. 2.3/2.4 motor was always a goal. A ball bearing turbo was always a goal. And a super clean 2g gsx was always a goal. Cant wait to show people the interior next week!!!

I remmeber when Chris has the 3052 on his Purple Monster! True beast turbo, I remember him trying to sell that set up so hard. Glad someone got it.
