Better shocks for straight line Drag racing? KYB GR-2 or Tokico Blues?

I have a set of skunk2 coilovers, eibach sportlines, kyb GR-2's, and Tokico blue shocks.
I have to AWD 2g's. I am puttin the sportlines on the 98 daily driver for sure, and the skunk2 coils on the 95 "weekend warrior".

Should I run the GR-2's or Blues on the 95 drag/street car?

I have the blues on my street car and they work well at the track but not great, do the gr-2s for sure on the drag....

hey how does your car ride with your skunk2's on...i have them on my car and they suck...im in the process of looking for some shocks too...

ive heard you have to cut the agx's so i dont think im going to get those...been looking into some koni yellows...

pm me id like to hear how your car rides..havent ran into many dsms with skunk2's...i think they are more of a honda thing...

Just realized a problem, the perches have been knocked off the blues for the coilovers:(
Looks like the blues will be going on the blue car, and the GR2's on my daily driver:(

The vast majority of the susp. threads I see are people asking how shocks ride on the street. My stock shocks are completely blown. The one time I drag raced it my car squats and dances more than any car should at the strip.

Are GR-2s stiff enough for the track? Or are AGX's vastly superior? I don't plan on lowering the car nor do I really mind extra stiffness from the shocks. Fastest this car will be is probably low-mid 12s once I get the evo3 16G I've been waiting on.

I don't like what I've read about AGX's blowing out, even on a 1" drop. I just want something stiff enough to keep the car from excessively squatting off the line.

edit: DAMNIT, I could have swore I clicked new thread.

Both are pretty much OEM replacements. I doubt that whether you choose one or the other will help you on your 60ft's, trap speeds, or overall 1/4.
I would assume that you'd want to keep your rear tire's contact patch as flat as possible, as well as minimizing the "squatting" effect of your rear end.
As weight transfers to the rear upon acceleration (especially HARD acceleration), your rear wheels will gain negtive camber, lessening your contact patch.

IMO, get stiffer rear springs and shocks. (Primarily stiff springs, since these will offer the most squat resistance.) This way, there is less delay for total load transfer to the rear tires.
