Ok so i am going to be droping my engine in my talon in a week or 2 and was wondering what the best way to with the tranny and tcase already in it or put the engine and tranny in at once? If it would be better for the tranny and t case to be in i will go ahead and put them in the car today and all.

I droped my engine and tranny all at once make sure you use a clutch tool if had the flywheel seperated from the clutch pressure plate. Ohh and 2 extra pairs of hands help a lot to guide the transmission into it's location.

Your profile says that your car is a manual and if it is a manual you can not put the trans in the car first.Bolt the trans and motor together with out the transfercase on and drop it in.If the transfercase is on you will have trouble tryin to slid the DS on.And the extra set of hands will make it alot easier going in.

i will have 2 extra hands helping just wanted to make sure i did it the easy way. And as for clutch tool im assuming the alignment tool for the friction disk. and i have that im trying to get a new flywheel as we speak also but other than that all is good. Does anyone have a site to get stock oem nuts and bolts for these things i cant find very many at all and the ones i found like STM and thedsmgraveyard dont have all the ones i need. the last owner kinda stole almost all the bolts off i scrounged what i could off a junk yard one but not much more i could get.

I'm actually getting ready to drop my buddy's engine back in as we speak. I'm doing it with the trans attached as well. It's much easier that way.

Yep, trans in. We had to do it with the trans out because we painted the bay and didn't have an engine balancer. It was not fun tryin to line it up even with 3 people.
