I've ordered a ton of stuff lately, still waiting for some of it to arrive, but I'm trying to decide what to do about my intercooler. Basically I'll have an Evo 16g, 650's, 190lph, dejontool blowby uicp w/gm maft, and the rest of the supporting mods etc. I'm hoping to eventually boost 20-22psi on pump 93.
So... What's the max boost I could push with my smic with the uicp? If I upgrade my IC, what ones are the best bang for the buck and would let me efficiently boost that much? Right now I'm looking at a few... Either the dejontool smic, alamo smic, dejontool street fmic (2 smic's welded together), or the dejontool racing fmic. If possible, I'd like to keep the costs down to around 600-700 including piping.
If I go smic, all I'd need are couplers, right? Would they flow enough? Ideally I'd like an fmic, but they're pricier. However, the street fmic supposedly bolts on to the existing uicp and licp's using the included piping (no extra cost!).
