Best place to buy a engine?

I just bought a 92 GSX which is basicly a shell.......it came with the AWD tranny and transfer case but no motor. Here is my question instead of looking through junk yards were would be the best place to find a motor "working motor"? I had the car towed to my house last night and already i recieved a letter saying it needs tags.

You could go the JDM route and get it from a company that imports them. Or simply look around on this forums classified section. Thats where I found my engine. Best of luck finding one.

Thanks! I should've researched this before i picked up the car...On a side note the 1g's aren't built for big people. If you are over 6'3 its hard to fit into these cars.

doesnt that dsm graveyard sell rebuilt motors? google them i think they have'em.
