Check your clutch slave and master cylinder.. make sure they are not bad.. If you pump it real fast a few times does it make it any easier?? If so I would lean twords a hydraulic problem.. IMO

Nah that doesn't help, the clutch won't fully disengage, I'm not leaking/losing fluid. I'm guessing one of the springs in the clutch popped off and got lodged in the pressure plate.

Dam.. Have you tried adjusting it yet to see if that helps? Did it jus like all of a sudden start doing it or was it after some hard launches or some good WOT pulls by any chance? If it did then ya.. I had the same thing happen to me. Turned out to be one of the fingers on my clutch fork broke off. Unfortunately I found this out after I replaced the master and slave.


On topic, I'm 98% sure I'll be there. just depends on wether or not my DSM feels up to it. I guess we'll see.

Ouch! Ya I had a prob with my clutch at one of the March meets.. My TOB decided to sieze up then brake into pieces and start sawing through my presure plate fingers

To top it off.. I was tryin to find the guys cause we had to leave the parking garage an go to lake merced.. So i was lost.... With no clutch.. had to turn off my car at every stop. put it in gear an well you know the rest ..

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it. I didn't drive the car hard at all previous to this, I was traveling at a pretty high speed (45-60mph) and I was in 3rd and then I pulled it out of gear and it stopped wanting to go into gear, so I kept coasting then tried to put it in gear and it went in gear again. I made it home and then to a friend's house until finally it wouldn't shift anymore, so I started it in first and drove home like that, good thing he lives close to me.

The problem is the clutch isn't fully disengaging, if I start it in first I instantly start going like 3-5mph, same with second, etc... My slave is squeaking but there's no fluid leaking and I still have full pedal pressure. I already bled my clutch and that didn't help at all, I'm leaning toward clutch fork as well, but this is a good excuse to upgrade to a fidanza 4.3 and rebuild the tranny.

Chances are I'll be making it down to the meet in the 5 series, but I will definitely be attending.

Yeah, sometimes I hope shit breaks so I can upgrade it, but luckily shit always breaks for me right before the rain hits and street cleaning comes by.

But on the bright side I'll be porting my turbo and upgrading my 1g exhaust side with 2g ported stuff so no more boost creep. Then I just needa buy link and some 680's off a local here and I'll be set until I get bored of that power and then the meth kit goes on.


But yeah, back on topic - sucks you can't make it Ryuto, have fun kickin' it with your family, I'll be sure to take a ton of pics @ the meet so everyone who can't make it can feel like they were there.

As far as I know there's a Krispy Kreme, In n Out, Jollibee, and I think a Red Robin.

Oh ya.. Not to go off topic... but forgot.. I unplugged my MAF and it wanted to die.. plugged it in runs fine. so MAF is good.. But i found the source of the prob bro.. hahaha Looks like whoever did the install left a clamp loose on the intercooler pipe so Im going to throw her on the lift and replace the clamp with a new one just to be safe
