Hey guys! I'm looking into getting some exterior aftermarket parts. Either just a few here and there or a whole body kit. Has anybody dealt with more than one brand? (Vfiber, VIS, Duraflex, ect..) I'm wondering what brand has better quality to their products? Sizing, quality and pricing wise. And how well they are with customer service just in case I have trouble with it.

I don't need smart-ass replies. I'm looking for straight answers without this turning into arguments about what makes a car look ricey.

I have a friend that has full OEM duraflex bumpers and he hasnt ever had a prob with them. he lives in speed bump heaven and the duraflex is nice because it dosnt break when it hits one (and you will hit one) they were realitily cheap and very easy to install. go watch some videos of this really fat guy walking on one on youtube. guy must weigh 400LBS and does some pretty funny stuff to there bumpers and nothing happens to them other than the paint gets chipped. remember that part of the cost of buying a aftermarket bumper is the fact that your going to need to paint it as well.

second note... its your car and if you want to put a body kit on it go for it. because in the end its YOUR CAR!!!!! you are the one who bought it and you are the one who works on it and does the up keep on it. if you want to paint the thing a pink leopard print paint job do it because you like it not because of what other say. when they start paying your bills then you can let them start telling you what to do... just my two cents.

Thank you. Duraflex does seem pretty reliable. And I've been reading up on peoples experiences with Vfiber and I have heard some pretty bad things. But there are Vfiber imitation stores that are usually to blame for Vfiber getting a bad name. So I'm doing as much asking around as possible.

No need to get your panties in a bunch, just some good o'l joking. I did always want the blitz kit on my spyder :)

Alright, no harm done. I really don't like show-offy aftermarket stuff anyways. Its really distasteful. I do like the blitz kit but I was thinking about Vfiber's Rdora. I like the front bumper especially because its higher from the ground so no hitting it off crap.

Stay away from anything thats fiberglass. Dura flex is alright but you will still spend time getting it perfect with no gaps. Poly urethane is the way to go no matter the brand really. Are you doing the work yourself or is someone else? Blitz looks good but you can mix and match to. Shop around for pricing too. Do you have a 2ga or 2gb body style? A clean 2gb is super clean by itself imo.

I would like to do it by myself. And I'm not really intimidated by a big project and I'm in the middle of putting some engine work on it so by the time I'm done I will put it away for the winter. The winter will give me time to make it perfect. I'm thinking to get Duraflex where it's a combination. And I've got a 2ga. A bit more work but oh well I guess.

Polyurethane is the best way to go but its on the expensive side. Duraflex is also good quality and reasonably priced. I love the Blitz body kit, but that's just me. Just love the way the front bumper looks, so aggressive.

Seibon, Only other kit I liked was the Buddy Club 2. Buy it from the SOURCE, and not a fiberglass replica that places charge more for and looks like a$$. I tried looking around for the link and guess they arn't even around anymore.

Read through East sleep DSM and they had a lot of issues to modify it to look good, sadly replica fiberglass companies most likely knocked out the PPU original. Stick to a front lip or any kind of splitter/valance.

Not much of a body kit man myself but I've heard a bunch of good things about duraflex from friends. Try andysautosport.com they have a nice selection.

My usual source for aftermarket parts is Everything Eclipse Upgrades. I have looked at Andy's autosports but didn't look into it much, I will see the difference between the two.
And could somebody direct me to the genuine Duraflex website? There are quite a few impostors and I'm not sure which one is the legitimate one.

Would it matter what material my fender is made out of? As long as it fits correctly, it won't be smashing into the ground so I don't think the material would matter much. Am I wrong?
