I would have left the car the way it was without paint the taillights or hood, but that's just me. It's your car and therefore you design it the way you like.
Also some stock 2gb rims would look nice on it.

I did like the original look but it was too subtle for me. Thanks checking out the thread.

yes I agree you should of left your tail lights the way they were, but hey its your car:)... The black rims go good with the red;)

Yes it is a FWD. They are 18's off the lancer they have the Mitsubishi logo on the center.

I think it looks alright. I'm still 50/50 on the 08 Lancer wheels but I'm not saying they are bad... just different.

I like the lancer wheels for their subtlety when they were silver, definately a good way to be rollin on 18s without drawing too much or any attention. I would lean towards some black racing wheels to go better with your styling theme but those can get expensive. I would probably tint the tail lights before going with one of those sets but it's your car and if you like it, that's cool.

You painted a perfectly good hood black to make it look carbon fiber? And put APC tails on it?

I'm indifferent on the wheels.

Have you done any performance mods to it yet?

These are stock tail lights, I just made a custom theme for them. As far as mods go it has Injen intake with 5" adapter, Greddy BOV and 3" cat-back exhaust, and lastly for now it sits on Eibach Sportline Springs.

You do know that there are AWD converted Spyders right?
yeah, a whole whopping handfull of them.

To the OP - I like the wheels, Lancer 18's definitely have a nice subtle look to them.
I can't say that I like the painted hood or taillights but that's just my opinion.

car looks good, except for the tails.

im still debating in my mind about the wheels being silver or black, they look good either way.

please get a fog light cover for your drivers side, then get a FMIC and cut out that black strip on the top of your bumper.

Those are all on my TO DO list. I also would like to put a 16g in here.

I personally like the wheels but other than that, I think it looked better in the original picture. I would have tinted the tails, reverse lights and side markers, had the rims powder coated black and maybe put a extremely light tinting on the headlights. That is just what I would do to it but like stated above....
It is your car and what you like is what you like.
