charlottetown,
Ok so most people generally start with an exhaust correct. I have done just about all of the intake mods now except for a new intercooler, I am running slighly higher boost then stock and have managed to drop 7 tenths so far from stock.

What I am wondering is that now that I am puhing alot more power than stock when I bolt up my exhaust next week will I see the same type of gains as I did with my other modifications? Will I see better results than the average person tha puts on an exhaust first thing?

I am putting on a 3" turboback, ran a best of 14.36 last year and am hoping for 13s this summer. Think it will be possible?

You'll probably see a difference and feel it. I can't tell you how much faster it'll be though, every car is different. Good luck.

Just a question since you guys are on the topic of exhaust. Im from ohio so I can get away with eliminating my cat. Is it worth it?:talon:

You could always just have your cat for emissions...and then a straight pipe for every day. Trust me, straight pipes are a lot better, me and my buddy passed emissions in WI with them (straight pipes) too. If you want all the performance you can squeeze out, go straight pipe. Also, exhaust will help the turbo flow a lot better, you'll definately feel it. Good luck, I hope ya get 13's! :thumb:

I'd say go for it unless you mind the funky smell you get w/o it. I always get people going WTF, what's "that" smell?
