OK... i'm in the process of building up my '90 tsi fwd. I have had no dsm experience in my past (i'm a dodge guy), so i do not know what kind of power a 4g63 can make.

My setup includes:

block:
machined crank with .25mm King main and rod bearings.
1990 tsi rods (i don't know if these are the "big rods" or not)
new 2G pistons with rings and pins
balance shafts eliminated

head:
freshly rebuilt with-
1mm oversize stainless valves

walbro 255 pump
RC 550cc injectors
hahn racecraft mbc
ported 1G manifold
ported small 16G turbo
3" turboback exhaust with 3.5" spintech muffler
Audi 5000 fmic
2.25" hard intercooler pipes
3" GM maf with translator
crushed 1G bov
sunpro boost and a/f gauges
palm m100
clutchnet 6 puck sprung disc with clutchmasters stage 3 pressure plate
SS clutch lines

345 in the third with two on and one strike. An error-free game so far, but there was that bench-clearing brawl in the first half of the second to put things a bit on edge.

Only your dyno will tell for sure, and it'll give that figure only once.

Why go to the trouble of the GM MAF when you're only running a small 16g (same with the oversized valves)? You're not going to be close to overrunning the stock MAF.

You have listed no way to tune the car that I see.

I've got less than that and I'm making about 320 at the wheels with my small 16g @ 20 psi (stock 2g engine with cams and DSMLink for tuning).

The 1g maf is a pretty big restriction and doesn't like a ton of airflow. 1g guys usually replace it early with a 2g maf or the gm maf.
And even so, what's wrong with running the gm maf on a 1g or 2g with just a small 16g. If you've got the money, or want to vent your bov, or what better throttle response, or a slightly quicker spool up (but more noticable on bigger turbos) then there's no reason not to do it. I have a 2g with gm maft and a big16g. Does that make me wrong?

Fuel tuning would probably be done via the translator. But rarson is right that you will need something to monitor the tuning; 1g pocketlogger, egt gauge, wideband, or paying $$$ for dyno wideband tuning. I would suggest the 1g obdI pocketlogger. 1g's can see knock count, lucky bastards! ;)

Closed on the premise of out "No bench racing" policy, and the fact that it has nothing to do with tuning.

Dyno the car and figure it out.
