I'm going to give you one answer of several to your question and then give you the best advice you will ever get.

Answer: Equal length halfshafts.

Advice: Use the search function on several forums and READ. After you get sick of reading? READ some more. When you are ready to throw up...KEEP READING. After about 4 months of that, you will begin to see why so many people are rolling their eyes at you.

P.S. As the owner of a 450hp Nissan Sentra SE-R (<==Don't even go there asking me questions about why/how/where/when regarding that car) I can tell you a 575hp DSM would be hell on earth to drive around the streets. Ever do a 1000' burnout at the track WITH slicks? I have. Ever blow the tires off at 110mph racing a Z06? I have. The ONLY FWD race DSM worth a damn came from Gary Marsh. Do a search.

jayhass brings up a good point. if your dead set on keeping your fwd, don't mod it to over 350 or so hp. spend money on traction; quaife diff, awd half-shaft, drag radials on the street, stiff as hell struts on the back.

I've seen people go to the local speed shop and pay up to have fully built DSM with cams, green turbo, and the huge spearco fmics. Only the owner didn't know what the hell having a fast car is.. Eventually he spun a rod bearing, and could only run a mid 12s at 110 on race gas.. The same guy bought my buddy's setup that ran a 11.6 @ 119mph on a old worn out motor. He really thought he could just bolt it all on and have that fast of a car. My buddy is very good at tunning and building DSMs, and he did he's research and spent lot of time learning and experimenting. Some people will never, even come close to putting engouh effort to learn or even try to make it there.

Has anyone seens Dre's site, and seen how much it took him to get where he's at with he's car? He's put a lot of work on that car, but it's not just the combination of parts, but a lot of it is in he's experience on what works and how to tune. I'd say very few people who are very good at working with DSMs will ever have a DSM that makes 575WHP.. Mostly for those who are good at working with DSMs, know that it takes more then they're willing to put into it, specially thinking what it takes to maintain a car like that. It's sort of a unrealistic goal, specially if you don't know much about mechanics and tunning.

Ok, dont get me wrong here. Alot of ppl coming onto this board, with dreams of this massive horse power, street driven terror. Now maybe only 5% of those may do it. But this isnt a reason to be an asshole to the ppl that want it.

So far from what i read he has along way to go. A really really long way to go. But that doesnt mean It cant be done. So why discourage him from doing this. He didnt say it would be built in a day. He seems to understand some what is involved. So help him out.

As for the front wheel drive part. Its going to take alot more to get power to the ground. But it can be done. Look at the brian (Green front wheel drive - lime green car built by magnus) He could only hit 12 flats with 500 + hp. then he put wheelie bars on it and droped a second. That just shows you how much problems there are with high HP front wheel drives.

But of course it can be done with money, money, money, time, and lost of know how. #### next year Brians car is suposed to have 1000hp, and run methonal. should be intresting. Go for it buddy. do your thing. but also understand that alot of ppl ask these questions, and many dont even come close.:thumb:
