balance shaft elim. kit

i have an extra motor and planning on getting it rebuilt. is better to install the kit before i take it in for the rebuilt????? i just got the kit today and this weekend i pretty free to work on my motor.

I would just let the shop install it when they are rebuilding it.

a lot of shops will suggest removing them. But I would rather do it myself, I dont trust anybody else to do it. That way you know its done right.
