It is MUCH easier to use the rubber mitsu plug then a freeze plug.

I used to rubber plug, and after the first boost it was blown out had to take the cover back off and put it back in this time with a sh*T load of jb weld

I don't want to be an ass or anything but I would sure listen to Kyle because he definately knows what he's talking about. Not to mention that cutting the shaft and worrying about it being balenced later doesn't seem worth it when the bs eliminator kits sold by almost every dealer is like $50 or less. I think that every wiseman on here would agree with the phrase, "do it right the first time".
