bad turbo, other damage?

Bazeezus!! What have you been feeding that thing? WTF Seriously what ever went through your compressor will eventually make its way into a cylinder or more. There may be some downstream damage but you might be lucky and just have the bad turbo.

Swarm, what sort of intercooler are you running coz i think most of the parts will be trapped in it! did you find anything that has come adrift from your air intake system? Do a comp check and put a bright light sorce in to all your plug holes (if you dont have access to a borescope) and have a look to see if you have and marks on the tops of your pistons.
If there is no sign of damage in the cylinders and comps are ok, replace the intercooler (you will never clean all the pieces out of it) clean all your ducting by forcing a big rag through it, and you should be ok! but most of all find where the foreign object CAME FROM.
Good luck

It is my thought that my 1g bov is messed up on arrival. I bought one, and when I installed it, it made a fluttering sound. I did not know any better, and I believe it was just forcing air back down into the turbo, causing the fins to bend, combined with the shaft play I probably already had, and caused it to hit the housing, and disentegrate.

Some of that damage isn't from the turbine hitting the housing. Something got caught and sucked in for sure.
