I replaced my 2g throttle body with a 1g throttle body, I used the 2g TPS on the 1g TB.
The problem I am having now is that I cant get the tps to read 100% at WOT, the cable is adjusted correctly and it read about 90% holding the plate open by hand, it actually oscillates from 90-91%, it is reading 0% at idle though. Also the car surges or "jerks" at low throttle, as if I am mashing the gas peddle on and off, but I am holding the peddle steady.

Does this sound like a bad TPS?

well check it with a dmm or if you have a richer buddy, a scope. you will find the answers you need.

yea definatly. with a dmm should see a sweep voltage from like .1 volts to 4.8 or .9 volts. there mite be a dead spot or a physical block in the contacts thats preventing to sweep farther. the scope will be better you can tell by how it stops how its failing.

Turns out you cant get a good adjustment using the SAFC throttle readings, I re-adjusted it using the datalogger and its fine now.

You CAN get a good reading with an afc if you use the correct value on the afc. if you go to the voltage values on the afc, (can't remember where it is) You can set the tps with those. .5volts with your foot off the gas, and about 5 volts with it WOT.

I was using the TPS percent value under the monitor selection, the SAFC reads able 3 percent when it is adjusted correctly, and reads 0% on the logger.

I always set tps by voltage, like i stated above, but im glad you got it worked out.
