ECMlink Bad idle tune, heat soak, or bad maf causing my idle to stall?

I am having this problem after periods of driving, when idling, my INT Temps are around 90-100*, my coolant temps are at 200-213* (even after adding Redline Water Wetter OMG) and I'll notice my MAF RAW hrtz will start to surge from 50hrtz to 20 hrtz, airflow per rev will drop to .23 and the car will peg lean on wideband and start to stall. The stalling doesn't happen every time though!

I don't have any other signs of a bad MAF as it only does this when idling after a period of driving. I also have my airflowperrev set at .29 as I have FP2s (272s) and I heard this is the target number for 272s. My ISC position is where it's supposed to be at 30ish

Could it possibly be heatsoak causing these issues? My airflowperrev at a wrong number? Or a bad MAF?

A couple of things to note is I only have the stock passenger side fan with a mishimoto radiator, no Emission lines at all with TB ports capped off, Dejon intake (only has recirculating port) with stock 1G bov recirculated and I also have my valvecover breather hose dumping off to the ground not recirculated back into the intake. (Could this be the problem?)

Any ideas?

Thanks :thumb:

Post a log so people are not going off vague guestimation of what is happening and can give advice of what they are seeing themselves... Also setup a proper crankcase evacuation System as yes that is going to cause issues... See here

Here is a quick idle log with a rev. The car didn't stall in this log but now it sounds like it's missing at idle. I am running brp7s ngk. Also I have a working PCV valve but I have read on here it's ok to not run the valve cover to intake line and just let it dump down or some people put a breather filter.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Read the info in the link post above rather then what ever your going off of and set up your Crankcase evacuation System properly.

Hmm, I see. Good information there.

I guess I have to find a new intake. Dejon tool doesn't have the option for just 2 ports anymore. It's either all, recirc, or nothing. Anyone know of an intake that has just 2 ports? (recir and valvecover)

I got the dejon intake with no ports. I dilled a hole and threaded a NPT barb in there for my valve cover breather. The aluminum was thin and easy to work with. Took about 10 mins to do.

Good info! Any links to that particular barb fitting? I guess what size would fit a hose that comes from valvecover? 3/8? I found some on jegs.com

Thanks

I'm about 99% sure the lines and fittings for the PCV system are 5/16", your local hardware store should have the fittings and the NPT tap if you need it. I'm planning on, well, reinstalling my PCV system this weekend as well.

This is including the valvecover to intake breather hose correct?

Just to confirm for anyone searching. It is 5/16s and a NPT fitting from Lowes worked! So far no issues anymore.

Thanks everyone
