2G Bad Idle Speed Control symptoms?

What symptoms will my car have if this goes bad? My car stumbles at idle (sometimes, rarly, it dies), it is sometimes hard to keep started (after it starts it will want to die), and what is oscillation?

ISC motors are tricky. Meaning, if they go bad, they can do lots of strange things.

Most common symptoms include generally crappy idle, idle surge (i.e. idle goes from 1,000 to 1,500, back to 1,000, down to 800, etc, etc etc) and, unfortunately, fried ISC drivers in the ECU (not as common, but can happen with a blown ISC coil) ( )

Make sure and do BOTH tests, not just the resistance test. If yours is like mine was, its resistance checked out within specs, but the motor wouldn't do a damn thing w/ the 6v attached to it.

Hi,
I'm Italian and I have got a 1991 Eclipse DSM Turbo AWD.
I have the same problem than "Fusion talon": rpms will bounce at idle, 1000-1400 rpm and it will be bouncing with its own constant rythm.
My BISS is full down, buy my idle speed is high.
How can I Do?
