Well, about a week ago my dsm didnt want to start up... after inspecting and checking the obvious things i finally concluded that it was the fuel pump. The question here is the replacement fp cost me roughly about $170. give or take a few... and after looking around.. i c that the walbro255 is about 100 bux. For right now i dont really need to move that car... but would it be "safe" just to install it and be able to drive it, or would it cause any problems? (in the future i do plan to turbo it, and right now im just starting to build up the bottom end rods, pistons, bearings, etc..)

Alright, i guess that gets that out of the way:) thanx alot for the help... i didnt wanna have to buy the stock one, and then have to replace it once i get my project underway;) thnx to all again

I was just about to purchase the fp from "extrempsi" and it seems that they have 2 types of 255lp pumps.. the high pressure and i take it the other is the regular 1... so... whats the difference and which 1 should i purchase?
