Had a really bad day on the 18th. I got t-boned in my passenger side of my 90 gsx thought I'd share my pain. She's headed to the body shop very soon.

Yea it sucks bad Iv only had the car like 3 months. I had planed on doing some motor work but now my money i got saved for that is going to the body shop

Well don't send it to a body shop and save most of your money.When you send stuff to a body shop the materials don't hardly cost anything its the labor that cost.Body work isn't that hard.It just depends if you have patients and not sit there with a big power sander cause being to lazy to use some good old fashion elbow grease to do it the right way for it to come out nice like most people.Id do the body work myself and send it out to get painted.Save a good amount of money doing it that way.

I dont have a 1ga fender but I have a door. It has holes for the 2gb talon trim. So you will need to bondo a lot. It would be a tough part to ship though.

Well that's a plus in the situation.But I'm not saying to do the body work if you don't think you can or would rather pay someone to do it cause you don't have the time.Its just a good thing to know when you deal with cars a lot cause it will save you a lot on money.Labor is the worst thing to pay for on cars.Materials might cost you 100 bucks or so to do a good amount of body work but the labor is what gets you.

My brothers and I just have liability and it cost us about 2000 a year. My parents say you wreck it and that it. Ill never wrecked but have slid on the road a few times. Snow and loose gravel.

If you got hit the other person should cover it. Full coverage probably won't be much more for you because of your age.

300/month for liability? You have to be kidding me. I paid $80 for liability on a 5 year old car when I was 16. Full coverage on most of our cars is just plain stupid unless you are a horrible driver.

What is it now. Is it still cheaper than my $2,000 a year even though I have no tickets.
