-Car quit on me while driving one day and later on I found out
that it jumped time about 3 teeth:rocks:, which is the most i've ever seen
a car jump at once.(Found out a idler pully inside broke and locked up
the timing belt for a split second)

-Did a timing belt job and got everything perfect and back to normal, rechecked spark and was getting spark in all 4 now.(Guessing the CPS?)

-Still no start and I was getting spark/fuel/air so only thing left was compression. :aha:

-Checked compression and these were the numbers: :barf:
#1: 60psi | #2: 10psi | #3: 10psi | #4: 50psi

-So I assumed bent valves since it jumped time so bad.

-I now have the head off but I don't see anything that could cause
such low compression? The valves don't "look" bent and I don't see
any marks on the pistions where they smacked the valves.

-The headgasket also looks fine, the ring around the cylinders isn't
blown or anything? I'm kind of stumped.

Any help is appreciated a ton!

To check for bent/leaking vales, pour water into the intake/exhaust ports and watch for water leaking into the combustion chamber.

Okay I will try that tomorrow, didn't even think of that - thank!

But hypothetically speaking, if it doesn't leak then what
else could be the issue?

Next time do a leakown test before you pull the head. But as suggested, you can pour water into the intake or exhaust ports or make sure the head is level and pour water into the combustion chambers and see if it leaks out.

Pour water into the combustion chambers? Is this to see if the piston rings are bad?

It might not seem bent but if anything is tweaked like the guides/valves then your valves won't seat properly. Looking at the pictures I would of done a semi rebuild before putting back on the road but That's just me. Good luck with it

Ok thank you guys very much!

I poured water into the piston chambers and marked
a spot on the wall with a marker and left it out there for about
45mins-hour and it never moved *wipes sweat off forehead*

I went ahead and just took off the intake manifold,
leveled the head and poured water into the ports.

And then long behold...
*drip*
*drip*
*drip*

Well atleast I found the culprit.

I also have another question as this is going to be
my first valve job, what exactly is going to need replaced?
Are my valves completely trashed or can I re-seat them with
some compound and that little suction spinning thing?

Also I really appreciate you guys helping me out on this and
giving me little tips/tricks - saves me a lot of time.
