hey i have a 2g with a s16g with all supporting mods, and ive been having trouble for a while and its been getting worse, i have a bad cam position sensor , but also my car wont boost, it will just go to zero, when i give it gas to boost and it wont move out of its own way, i had problems before this which was very slow spool and weird blow off, i had a manifold leak but i fixed it , and it didnt change anything now i have this problem , would the bad sensor cause the car to pull timing, and cause all this and also if i replace it will it go back to normal?? also any diagrams of where the sensor is would help alot
thanx

Usually the 2g cars won`t run at all with a failed cam position sensor - Why do you suspect the cam sensor, did it trip a code ? I would definately solve that issue first, but I think you do have another problem concerning the boosting (fuel starvation, clogged fuel filter, or boost leak possibly)

yes it is possible fix your know problem and see what happens

the easy fix would be to go with a black top CAS and get the harness from RRE that way you dont have to undo you t belt to replace the sensor

my cel is on cause of the wideband , and i ran the codes and cam sensor was one of them, im completely confused !!
