ok i have a 2g eclipse and before i got it i had bought rotors for it off ebay now i see that i have drums in the back and not rotors. is there any way to put rotors in the back?...ty

Moved to suspension tuning since that's where most of the brake threads are usually put.

I don't know if you can convert them.

I'm not one hundred percent, but I belive you would have to swap the hubs, and buy some calibers and pads.

very expensive to do, but if you found the parts at pick your part it might not be too bad, maybe a couple hundred.

i have a very good idea unless your wallet has so much money that it falls out every where when you open it. sell the rotors back on ebay and have your drums cut and put new pads on. otherswise if your wallet is that fat go ahead and convert it to disc, also don't get used calipers because that is just plain stupid.

Actually, if you can get a pair of used calipers you can rebuild them like new, or use them as a core to exchange for professionally rebuilt calipers. The cost of a new or rebuilt caliper without a core is quite expensive.

In order to put disk brakes on the rear you will need the rotor, the caliper, pads, and the dust shield/caliper mounting piece. It is basically what the caliper mounts to and includes the emergency brake mechanism which is different on the disk brake equipped cars.
