i know, im goin to be doing something similar, its not too too bad to do actually, lookin good too. you want one?
 
take off the letters, tape out where they were, paint the tailight black or whatever color, install light inside.
 
to get the stock tail to light up you have to install two tail lights in the center piece. Go to shucks and buy two tailight brackets and two bulbs. Than cut the whole to fit after they are mounted run wires to your existing tail lights than you have a full rear tail light assembly.!!

no its custom but im sure if u buy a few middle pieces you could sell them off pretty quick...



..looks like someone got some pics of DSMtalk LOL.. the "eclipse" in red would be the best IMO.
 
i got an extra middle peice todaya and im going to try and do it this weekend, i will post the results whatever they may be?:confused:
 
where did you get that picture from....if you know where just email the guy and then ask...let me know what you find out
 
i got the pic. of are gallery on dsmtuners but i cant find it n e more? so i duno i havent tryed it yet i just got my big 16g and the kit to do it so iv been messin with that lately!:thumb:
 
Friend of mind did this in his car. It's not hard at all. Just gotta be creative with it. I'm just curious how he got it to be blue.
 
Cleared it out and used blue LED's. It isn't hard to replicate that piece of plastic.
