Hey guys i just got back into the DSM game with a 95 GSX black with only 80,000 miles! Got a super good deal on it, and i can't believe how clean it is. I am basically copying this post from the Newbie forum and putting it here as well, hoping some regional members can comment. Im sure some of you saw the car on craigslist in Seattle, and i am happy to say i talked them down a couple k from the $7999 they were asking. Just wanted to relieve some of you that it is in good hands, and will be in the dsm family respectively :)

Anyway, my plan for the car is to make it my fast DD. Hopin just to max out the Evo3 16g (still the best street turbo?), with supporting mods, etc. I don't want to go cheap on any parts, but i also don't want to overspend on parts i dont need to (intake, MBC, etc).

I've been looking around at prices for various parts, and almost all have gone significantly up, and others possibly lower. So my usual choice of the simple Chrome Intake systems for example, has me second guessing if there is anything else out there? Do I need anything more quality? Was going to try and keep most things under the good either black or red, are there any decently priced black or red intake tubes out there?

While im at it, going to also need a MBC and had a few thoughts/questions.
1. I did the cheap Home Depot MBC last time, held up to 22 PSI no problems, im thinking of maybe doing the in-cabin Hallman for adjusting it down on my commute and maybe turning it up (when i have tuning software and all supporting mods much later) on the way home or when i please. Is the hallman evolution worth it? Or to properly do this would i have to load a new preset in my tuning software when adjusting the boost?

2. I can't find the basic triple-pod A pillar guage cluster i had last time and was hoping for some suggestions as well as some cheap, decent gauges for my boost, and EGT guage, since i already know i need the AEM UEGO. Its best to have (Boost, EGT, and Wideband, correct ?).

Any suggestions on these parts would be greatly appreciated and sorry for the rambling, im stoked!

PS- Those rims are GONE as soon as i find a set of Evo 8's or anything that's not chrome! Enjoy the DSM porn

Nice car but damn $8,000 is expensive. Need anything let me know. Cost me only $3,000 for my 95 talon and only had 80,000 miles too to bone stock.
 
Ya so glad i didnt pay $8k! I had my old 95 GSX for $3000 as well, but this one was too perfect to pass up, i was hungry! Going to need some help finding exterior parts for 2gb conversion...

Also where to sell these rims! Anyone anyone want them or have suggestions on where to sell them besides Craigslist?

Oh I thought you payed $8,000 but all good looks clean try see if you can meet up with us all sometime.:hellyeah:
 
i can see if i still have the red dejon intake if your interested in buying one used... clean car great find.
could also ask my buddy if he wanted to sell his black dejon intake... let me know
