Axle Question

I am going to be putting the axle back into my car, the one that keeps popping out. Its the driver side axle and i was wondering on if i have to use an a/c bracket. I was told that i needed it to align the axle so it wont keep popping out.. Its a 93 gsx. And this has been a big problem with me. I cant seem to keep it in there. Anyone with some postive comments please let me know

I need to get this car on the road, and keep the axle in there. I was told most people usually just re-use the c-clip.

Are you talking about the intermediate shaft or the cv axle? Because the intermediate shaft has a bracket to bolt it to the bottom of the block and the cv axle plugs into it.

yes i understand that, it seems to me that the bolts keep vibrating out. I cant imagine that some lock tite will make that an easy fix.

I was just told that the ac bracket helps allign the axle.. Not sure if that true. I no that the intermediate shaft is bolted to the block. I just need to find out how to keep it in there....

The ac bracket is about a 1/2 inch thick and makes your intermediate shaft sit flush. If you dont have that on there only one bolt will hold it on. You can cut out the part you need to shim it out or find washer ect so that way you can tighten both bolts down tight.

so i do need the bracket, i guessing i will need the bolts also.. I dont have them i was told the size is 10x 1.25 please let me know i need it fixedd. Which is for the a/c bracket
