So I need to replace a rear wheel bearing on my AWD TSi but all I can really find are the bearing hubs without the portion with the wheel studs. Like these
Timken 512181 Wheel Bearing - - -
My questions is should I try get ones with the wheel hub/studs attatched or do the first kind just slide onto the old hubs?

If you want the whole thing with wheel studs the only place to get them like that is from the dealer. Or from an aftermarket company like drive shaft shop, or dsm grave yard (the non junk yard one). I can see if i still have the part number tonight if you need it.

I have the OEM part number I was just wondering if it was ok to just buy the bearing hub or if I had to get the whole assembly?

You can get the whole rear wheel hub from SFK. P/N 397 37009 365, If you are still looking for one.
Nothing came up when I searched for that...

It's pretty easy to press the hub out and in. See if someone nearby to you can do the hub swap.
Seems I've heard the opposite. I've read plenty of threads about the "common problem" of them being seized together and not being able to be seperated by 25-30 ton presses. I'd hate to buy twice, but $50 looks alot better then $150...
