is there any difference from the 91-94 AWD shifter cables to FWD shifter cable? also the FWD is just a 2.0L if that makes any difference. how about the shifter base too?

Nope, shift cables are the same AWD/FWD. Only thing that makes a difference is the 90 years. They have a different shifter base but as far as the cables, I can't say for sure.
