AWD A/T......options

Heya, well it looks like the last idiot who had my car didn't know what he was doing. My tranny bolts have backed out and cracked the case. So I need a new transmission. It's a 91 Talon TSI. What are my options? Will a FWD tranny fit??? Or do I need to replace it with a AWD one? I am deperate here too since it's our daily driver........

A turbo FWD tranny will fit. The n/t's used a three bolt flex plate, turbos use four bolts. Is the tranny burnt up? If not a good welder may be able to weld the crack.
