Autozone and Advance can't figure it out.

my 420a engine has a crack in the thermostat housing. When they pulled the part at autozone it looked completely different . I need the part that attaches to the head. Does anyone know the name of the part?

You may want to look into your local salvage yard, or mitsu dealer. Those places aren't going to sell that part.

Same as what your calling it. They probably pulled a 4g63 housing. Check out ebay I see them on there all the time. You can find them on here sometimes as well.

defeat54 the reason that autozone can't get you your part is because when the try to look up the thermostat housing it comes ups as a water outlet which is the wrong part. they don't sell that for most cars.

Dsmtun you are right about the part that comes up. I found one at a junk yard and it cracked while I was putting in that one

As far as the thermostat housing.... not available. BUT... we can get them for a lot of different vehicles. Just the Talons and Eclipses fall under that "not your lucky f'n day" category.

Just go to a junkyard. If there are no eclipse/talons around just look for a 420a avenger.
