automatic to manual mystery wires...

I recently picked up a 2g eclipse rs that had been swapped from automatic to manual the only problem is the odometer and speedo don't work. There are two wires coming out of the transmission plug in that I have no idea where to put. I have had a couple mechanics look at it and neither wanted to mess anything up so they never tried... ### help... where do I start... i just want to get the speedo and odometer working...
