Auto Trans Fluid Flows Which Direction?

There are two ports on top of the transmission...one obviously the out to the oil cooler and one in from the cooler. Does anyone know which is the out and which is in the in? The ports are one in front of the other on top....his is on a 1g FWD

Take one fluid hose off the radiator and head it into a pan. Have someone start the car and shift into Neutral to activate the tranny pump. Notice how the fluid flows .. If into the pan, or out the nipple on the radiator.

This is how one does a tranny flush with using th tranny pump so the converter gets flushed out as well.

My trans is out of the car now...i am replacing it along with the torque converter. Was going to see if anyone knew which way flow was before hand
