i have an awd auto colt project for drag no autoX :i have an awd auto tranny with an open front diff...
today i just pick up a 3 bolt rear open diff that i plan to swap the complete ring and pinion with open diff into a 4 bolt lsd rear,... here are my options... i have 3bolt open diff auto, 3bolt m/t lsd, and 4 bolt rear lsd

option 1
-swap 3 bolt auto open diff, ring and pinion gear into 4 bolt m/t housing...

or

option 2
-swap just 3 bolt ring and pinion gear into 4 bolt m/t housing installing 3.307 (auto ring gear) installed on a 4 bolt lsd if possible???

questions
-having open diff in the front and lsd in the effect anything???

-i just plan on swaping the entire 3bolt open diff internals into my 4bolt housing minus lsd???is this the best setup???

please no smart ass comments if you dont understand what am asking, feel free to ask more question to get a better understanding please. thank you

The answer to the first question - "having open diff in the front and lsd in the effect anything???" (after translation) - is "no." You can have an open front with LSDs in the center and/or rear. That is, after all, how AWD DSMs come from the factory.
