SO i bought me two 15 audiobahn immortal series subs pushing 2250 rms and 5000 peak now i need an amp i am currently lookin at audiobahns 2300hct its a 2 channel amp powering 2400watts x2 at 1 ohm will this amp be the right set up im lookin to power both w/ it is it to much or too

have you ever heard a sub at 2000 watts???...that amp will drive those subs...what is the voice coil ohm rating for your subs? if they are 2 ohm ( correct me if i am wrong) you can wire them in series and then bridge the amp and that will give you optimal power through both subs but at 2000+ watts dont plan on sneaking up on anyone cause they will hear you commign from 3 miles away.

got a link to some pics of these subs, i have never heard of the immortal series

the immortals are pretty damn good subs if they are in the right enclosure. as far as the audiobahn amp, i have had this amp and it might have done 1200watts on a good day. way overrated. we currently run the orion 2500d amps in our competition van. they do 2500 rms watts all day. if you check out the orions and like them let me know. we are selling a couple. of our extras.

you don't want to wire the speakers that way. it's much better to just wire them in parallel using both channels. you only want to bridge the amp if you're running one speaker

i've heard a few a-bahn immortal setups.they were all tuned high as shit tho like 50hz+ so they sounded like shit for daily.what i have found with a-bahn subs is that they like ported boxes alot better than sealed boxes[from the 2 that ive played with]which are the aw1206's and the aw1200's.i've heard that the immortals are the same way as well.i'm runnin a single re xxx 12" in my car in a 2.5cu.ft ported box and its awesome.
if you run into trouble designing a box lemme know cuz i build boxes all the time.
as for the amp i use to have an a-bahn 1500hcq.it was an awesome looking amp and the power wasn't to bad,but it drained alot of current.what kind of voltage mods are you runnin as well as the size of the power wire?

sheot, call audiobahn's 1-800 number and talk to them, they are really nice.

Yes, ported boxes are great, again the techies there will tell you the best for the speaker. Everytime i get a audiobahn to install, i call them because they get to play with the speakers all day long in different cars and will tell you much better box designs than the specs listed on the site.

actually half of the time they are wrong

well from my experience i've had good luck

with 2x aw1206t's i got 152.3 db and with 2x 1006q's they told me how to make a pretty good everyday box that was a mix between SPL and SQ and it was almost just as responsive as the 2 infinity 10's that i used to have in a sealed box. I was pretty pleased. They also reccomended the A1500HCQ for both of those setups. Don't mistake me though, i'm not calling them gods or anything, i'm sure they could be wrong for certain subs. You can't just play with a sub once and have perfect results. The immortal series is pretty new and designed mainly for SPL, not SQ. As far as audiobahn goes, stay away from any series less than the x06q/t's. If your subs can be wired to 1 ohm (combiniation of the 2 subs) then they will tell you to go with the A5000SPL. It's a hella monster, but will kill your mind. It's prolly way out of your budget. If i were you i would have stuck to 1506t's for my subs and a A1500HCQ for my amp.
