To start things off the price of the exhaust at less than 500 is a pretty good deal but aside from cost lets look at it on a more performance level.
First Impressions:
The exhaust arrived in a large box, it didn't really have any packing "in the box" but it did have cushioning on the holder tabs and on the ends of the exhaust. It didn't really bother me though because I paid for the exhaust, not packing. The exhaust itself was very nice looking, mine was 3" stainless steel piping with a 4" polished tip.
Installation:
Installation was pretty simple. Removing the old exhaust was definitely a task due to some rusty bolts but once it was off things went pretty smoothely. Due to the larger diameter piping it was rather difficult to get the piping over the rear cross member, you have to have the car jacked up to a certain height so you can get the right angle on it.
Everything else bolted right on, bolted up the hangers, o2 sensor back in, and tightened up the clamps and it was ready to get tested.
Break-In:
On first start up I was pretty happy, I love the sound of this exhaust; It has a nice rumbly idle to it and it gets better as the rpm's increase. The note on lower rpm's is a deep growl, not high pitched crap that I hear all the time. As the revs increase the note of the exhaust becomes less deep but still sounds awesome. You can also hear now with the windows down the exhaust turbine spooling up to speed, its a nice little touch that puts a grin on your face.
Overall
Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase, awesome sound, good quality, great price; this is one of the few things that I can say I have no regrets of buying. I'd highly recommend it!
