ok heres the deal I am getting crazy because I am super manic with car transmisions especially automtic ones
I have a 97 GST automatic
In the owners manual it says to check the tranny fluid level in NEUTRAL , at operating temp and after going trough all the gears, the thing is that I am often adding more fluid but i repaired the drain i had, so there is no fluid at all on the floor, I was scared i overfilled my trans today but after checking it on neutral it barely shows any fluid on the dipstick not even on cold spot, but if I do it on parking its above the dipstick level on the metal and with the car cold 2 hours off after driving it , it also shows the level at hot mark, so does the automatic 2g turbo check is in parking , and neutral is only for manual trans!?
