So today i installed my Intake system with a K&N filter. I noticed that at WOT it seems pretty jerky at times. Does this seem like a boost leak? or a fuel cut? I tried zip tying all the vaccum hose connections, that is what im thinking is the problem, they seems pretty firm but i still worry. What do you think?

btw i was running about 12 PSI before the upgrade and now i am in the 15-16 PSI range.

Install a logger and see if the fuel is cutting...

And I clicked this expecting something much, much more delicious.

If your running a 16g on 16 psi you're most likely running out of fuel and running way lean. You need to get a logger asap and see what's happening... I would tone it back down to stock level boost on a 16g with no fuel mods.

Im running a stock turbo(t-25) and no boost controller.

I feel like my PCV valve hose is the one that is the most loose. would this cause this problem? or is this most likely a fuel cut issue?

okay I'm going to be more helpful. If you installed your K&N and THAT'S IT, then go back to how it was, if it still feels funny then it's something else but odds are favorable that something else was messed up on install. Loose wire? did you kink and old vacuum line and the extra boost from WOT causes it to leak? There are sooo many possibilities and without a logger telling you why it's behaving that way it's very difficult to diagnose.

yeah bro, i was able to talk the guy down $800 when i got my gsx because it was "jerky"... i had the same problem in my GTP before when i increased the boost, took me awhile to figure out it was because the plugs were gapped too wide and it was blowing out the spark... a quick regapping of the plugs after i got my gsx home, problem solved...
