I was just wondering how much torque is to much for the street disc with a 2600pp, a 6 puck clutch should be installed when running what amount of torque?

I think it's a "your milage may vary" sort of thing...

I'm not making enough torque to push the clutch though (~300 ft-lbs), so I can't comment on that.

Coup D E'Tat said:Kyle, what clutch disk/pp do you run? I, too, was looking at running this (Mach V sells them, but ACT disks aren't sprung, or so I've read) and didn't know whether or not I should go with this setup or a 2600/street disk.
Mike 99GSX said:ACT has changed their manufacturing process on the 2900. They have moved the pivot point on the PP. The pedal pressure on a 2900 is actually less than a 2600 now.
kpt4321 said:Since when is this true, out of curiosity?
kpt4321 said:ACT 2100 pressure plate, clutchnet sprung 6-puck disc.
The Clutchnet disc is a beautiful piece, and it is about 5 times beefier than the ACT discs. However, the extra weight also means that it's just going to be harder on synchros.
I have a couple pictures of it here, but they will not around forever:

I like it so far, but it's not for everyone.
