I'm having a strange problem . I drive my 95 gst normally and it rides fine . I have a greddy type s bov big greddy intercooler full evo exhaust cold air intake . If i give my car full throttle usually around 5k rpms it bogs pretty bad then itll catch and begin to run normal again . I have changed spark plugs and my pvc valve i have checked for a boost leak and found oen int the bov and i recirculated it however that did nothing. I thought it was my gas because it seemed ot be lean so i figured bad gas I burning it all away and put fuel system cleaner and some new high octane in it (92) and its still not changed I have CEL codes that involve my MDP sensor or an electrical issue and my IAC motor I can get codes if you need them. I Havent dealt with those tow things yet or tested them I jsut need some opinions on what direction to start in , I think It also might be my fuel filter being dirty however i do not know . My piston rings might also be worn because my spark plugs ( old ones ) were coated with oil .

You say your plugs were coated with oil. Have you performed a compression test? Do you see blue or other color smoke from your exhaust at any time?

no i havent done a compression test i did everything else today and i dont have a garage so i didnt have time to do that test yet or for that matter the compression gauge my friend is going to see if he has one but until then i'm un sure im just going to check after driving tomorrow if my plugs have more oil on them and then going to try to get the gauge to do the test

Thing is, plugs aren't designed to work when coated in oil. So, the question you need to answer is where the oil is coming from. You could have head gasket problems, severe blow-by problems, valve guide wear and seal problems. I'd forget about the boost issue for now and just concentrate on solving the oil on the plugs issue.

yeah thats my main worry really but i need to do a compression test and figure out whats going on I knew piston rings could cause it and a valve seal and im glad you gave me some dieas of other things it might be
