Slap a decent tune on there and keep it. These cars can get amazing gas mileage. I got 300 on one tank with an off tune and 2 1/2 gallons of e85 and running it 3 times at the track. I sure hate to see all that hard work just be gone :-/ Don't let other people drive your car!! Haha ;)

My dad is pushing me I find something more reliable, as much as I want to keep this car, I still live there and he pays for a lot of it. And I don't! Haha, no one but bobby drives this car other than me. I was on the phone with my grandpa talking about meeting him so I had him pump the gas. He put regular then and I didn't realize.

It happened man. If I could afford it it would buy it, i guess you should have specified what gas to put in it.mine had a warning sticker on the door flap. Sucks though. Gotta do what you gotta do man!

anyone got any clue as to why my engine is pushing 55-60psi on cyl 1-3 but up around 100psi on 4 when i checked the compression?

Head gasket

+1 100 should be about right, if not a tad bit low.

Miss firing ? I would do a boost leak first to rule that out. Check your wires, plugs, coil, the. On to fuel, dirty fuel filter, injectors are not firing.

Pull you plugs to see if anything is abnormal.

Well today was a good day on the engine. Got to work early and stripped the engine to the block. Going to try and get the block to the machine shop tomorrow. Also going to get the talon back into a rolling chassis. Instead of swapping sub frames I removed the rear diff assembly axles and spindles from the awd and putting the spindles from the gst to convert it to fwd. I think fwd axles will slide into the front hubs of awd. Then all I left to do is convert auto to man . Going to hit that hard this weekend( weather permitted).

plugs look good, no boost leaks (that i can find) and the gauge stays steady at boost and doesnt bleed off and i dont hear the turbo spool any faster to keep that boost psi, coils are firing, unsure on the fuel filter but its not a constant miss, it happens more when it gets to temp but its not an all the time miss, itll idle fine and read any where from 14.5-14.9 on the wide band then itll drop to 2-300 RPM and read about 18-19 on the wide band (if its a boost leak shouldnt it be running rich instead of lean?), and i can agree that possibly it could be the head gasket but the fuel problem im thinkin is the filter, ill check the fuel filter since some one put a pressure gauge on it if its low ill try gettin a new filter and seeing how that goes, and the specs i found for compression psi says around 130-180

according to this any way

so its extremely low especially at 1,2, and 3
when i check the fuel psi ill post my findings

Well today started of badly

I wouldn't consider boost creep to be something "wrong" with a car haha. And your own fault for what? Seemed like a really really clean car, why sell it?

I just get agitated when I cant fix something. Im used to Fords LOL 03 Cobras.. So a Dsm is like a foreign language to me. Sooo anyway I just have to fix the boost creep and the ac and itll be good to go.
