Hmm, havnt really tried putting in a dvd, (I upgraded my life to a ps3 and blu ray) disks read error, il try that though, (my daughter thought it would he funny to throw my only controller, its a remote. In the bathtub with me.)

I really only bought it to watch pirated movies (ps3 has ciniviax protection from what I read its a high pitched tone we can't hear at the movie theater and when the ps3 picks it up on the video it locks me out) but it doesn't even do that.... luke was using it to watch netflix.

It comes on and everything cycles fine...

Hell ifbyiu can do something wth it (maybe make you some extra cash for a dsm ) you can have it!

I am pretty sure you need a 90 only ecu, those are a weird year,

Absolutely correct. 90' was an oddball year and I recommend ONLY using 90's affiliated anything with a 90'. Wiring was odd. Spline counts were odd. Transfer cases were odd. Etc.

Does anybody know of any GSX for sale that isn't f**k with/destroyed that is for sale? I am looking for bone stock DD Gsx or Talon that i can dive everyday. I don't want another project car. Let me know if anybody out there know off one for sale in factory shape.

Colby i just don't have time right now to work on it. I figure i just get one that is in good shape so i don't have to deal with this headache. i inherited somebody's mess, neglected car, time to move on car, or what ever you want to call it. And trusted the wrong shop to get her back together. I don't want to trow the money in the pit a second time and if i do i am just going to taking her to Houston to FIST racing/Collins automotive to get the bugs work out/gasket issues fix, and tune the car. I sold my truck so i need a good DD too.

These kids are taring them apart, and once the funds/fun runs out its time to dump the car. I just don't want to inherited somebody's problems. I just sold my truck that i have and i really need something that i don't have to worry about. I just want a stock dsm thats been taken care off. So far every single one i have found either is too far or im just too late to get it.

Anybody want to go to Michigan with me to pick up a dsm?

Agreed its easy enough now to pick up somebody's project, take the parts you want, fix it to tunable condition, and make a nice profit in parts and resell.

If I can just get the wife to let me put a parts car in the back yard...,

I got to replace the head gasket, its pushing coolant. Hopefully the head or the block isn't too warp where i can just swap the metal head gasket to the composite gasket. Polk performance screw my car up, its running shitty and sputters like crazy. Running pig rich and need a good tune but i rather take it up on a dyno and properly run it. I need a turbo and thats one of the reason why the car is not running.

Okay question, I was reading around on the newbie forums and came across a guy saying he ran into some knock issues from heat soak on his big 16g. Could that be what is causing my knock? It only reads knock when boosting during pull at around 5k rpm, and then when under 3k rpm but under load such as going up a large hill.

Ah. Luckily my Talon was worked on by Don himself.

The only thing that isnt a damn 90 on that eclipse is the new transmisison, i opted for a 92-93 because 90s are just terrible .... Its a 90 spline transfer case also..

I just popt the back of the tranny off and swapped splines, way easier and cheaper than buying a whole new X case, easiest thing to do.

you still got time j/k.. i know how you feel, I work 40+ hours a week, taking 15 credit hours in college, AND have to do 60 hours of ambulance ride along time AND 60 hours of ER time.... its burning me out.

I graduate spring of 2014 with a associates degree in science and paramedics...

Load it up and bring it over to the dsm garage its empty right now.

Will just have a dsm meet here and work on the car.

+1 i know it, mine will git built, just not right now but i bank about 2K a semester, hopefully i can start buying stuff at the first of the year and start next summer!

I'll send you a text tomorrow, not sure if you sleep early for church or work or anything. It was great seeing so many people out there showing respect. I saw the line, but was too far to pick anyone out. It would be good to see every soldier get that much honor and respect. Sorry to hear about your friends, it's hard to imagine waking up every day knowing it could be your last, I mean, we already do but just not in the same sense as them. They died protecting what they love and I suppose that's a better way than some others. It's good to know there's still people out there who care for the country, and well being of future generations. Well this has gotten pretty long so I'll shut up now. Haha
