Entirely agree. That's what I went and picked up yesterday. I personally feel that they seal better than the OE seals.

I actually ended up going to lowes for these and found them for 78 cents for TWO so even cheaper than HD?

I also decided to finish off my blasting cabinet for my soda blaster and sand blaster, total cost of about 25$.

Also patched up a few boost leaks but my damn plastic BOV won't hold past 10psi before it starts to leak so I fixed to that level for now. I plan on picking up a VRSF front mount and new BOV next month to solve that issue. Also have a new down pipe and electric cutout coming as well.

Now time to pray that the HOGS pull out a win this week....

Decided to take the ol gsx for a cruise today, would have been the first since my daughter was born in feb. Fired her up and while waiting for the car to reach operating temp I decided to step around back and hear the lovely sound of the hks cams. First thing I noticed were the brake lights stuck on. While thinking about it I notice a strong gas smell, hmm let's pop the hood. Apperantly That pretty new aeronotive fpr got tired of waiting on me to drain the old gas out and was taking care of that for me. Thought to self throw the marlboro as far as possible and shut it off. Lol.

Car is now neatly tucked away under a car cover. I'm starting back on 7/12's Monday so I know what will have to be addressed come thanksgiving. Moral of the story? Don't let your shit sit around, get out and enjoy it.

HA, i do know it would look good sitting in your garage. I can have it fixed in about 15 mins, but itll give me somthing to do this fall. Been contemplating draining the tank and start driving her again, but then again since im fixing to have zero free time I might as well wait til my fall work is over.

Tell ya what. Get it down here and ill fix it for ya. For that matter I will get it here for ya if you need. :D

My garage looks empty without a dsm in it.

Hey. I'll supply the AFPR if you want to fix it. :p I'll even bring the truck to get us there.

Nice DIY blast cabinet. I want to see how well it cleans parts. I want a small cabinet to clean parts.

WPS !!! Hope they can pull this one off.

Well I picked up a nice bottle of blast media from harbor freight to test out some sand media. Took a stab at the center caps for my rims as I plan on blasting them all and painting with plastidip soon.

Before as a comparison.

After a blast, cleaned them up and left a nice mat finish which should take paint quite well.

And a small test of the plastidip. Obviously the caps have some pitting that the blasting didn't dig into so maybe a lower grit would be better but 80grit did fine for this.

Also tested out the Harbor freight headlight kit which was on sale. Not bad for 5$...

That's cool, what are you using as the siphon tube and nozzle?

Boosteclipse, so do you have a layaway plan? Lol

Simply just a 3/8 inch fuel hose and an old air gun for my compressor. You simply cut a slit in the hose, stick the airgun in slowly, and the other end of the hose in the media. I even used this as a power washer earlier to spray pressurized simple green :D.

I gotta say its one of the best tools to have in the garage. I need to pick up a bag of baking soda next time at harbor freight, the wife yelled at me for stealing the box out of the kitchen....

What size compressor are you using?

Ok lukes talon has a ecu, he says he took the cover off and looked and it has the chip in the corner of it, but does all eproms have to E#### stamped on that chip? Ok, in

Ok so here my problem now, put went to start it up and it high revs(open full throttle). Colby told me that it was the Cas need to be set. But I'm not sure. Anybody input would help if you need any more info let me know.

Have you checked the throttle plate also? To assure its not stuck?

im check it in morning. ill text you and tell you.

I would check the throttle plate also, make sure the butterfly is working, I don't think the CAS would make the rpms' go to an extreme like that, I would double check boostleaks, a big enough leak will cause this also.

And someone ask luke how he likes his 1g BOV, I swear by the time I get ready to do my build, there will be nothing left LOL...

Anyone coming up to Bikes Blues and Barbecue this weekend? Saturday is a HUGE car and bike show at the mall with a Cruise IN the night before.
