Also Im looking for a J-pipe for a big 16G and piping for a FMIC if anyone has parts for sale. The J-Pipe is what I need the most.

Just PM or text me at 87zero 83zero l677

I think I have an extra j-pipe lying around, if I can remember where I placed it.

I have a second one coming in the mail, actually - now that I think about it.

A meet sounds good! And can i get everyone's opinion on exhaust manifolds? I been searching the forums and lot people say to go with the tub manifolds and others say take the cast iron and have it opened up and it makes more power and will not crack like the tubed. Has anyone tried one or both ?

Thanks, I will start reading and studying.

What are you using? Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to find something we can use that someone in the area may know something about if we have issues.

I have used them all, right down to the AEM Standalone - though far less of it. The two that would likely be easiest to use with the most support is ECMlink and the Flashable ECU. Basically with the flashable ECU you make changes to the program, flash it to the ECU, and test it. If it doesn't work you reprogram and flash. You can also log on these ECU's.

With link everything is instant and right there in front of you in much prettier font. Just depends on if you want to spend money or not.

Well got just about everything on the motor today. Now if Damn taxes would get here for my Damn tranny.

Also when I deleted the balance shafts. I just replaced the front bearing with a new one and turned the hole so no oil. The back bearings looked fine and since I probably couldn't get the rear bearings out I just left them. Should be fine right?

Well taxes are in. time for a tranny!

I am also painting my tappet cover black with white lettering. Same with the intake manifold. I will be taking a piece of plexi (sp?) Glass and making a cover tlthat goes over my sparkplug wires. What should I put on it? I was thinking of a turbo sticker. But any advice?

I've been using ecuflash/evoscan for a little over a year now and love it. Link is a lot easier and real time, but evoscan now has maptracer which helps a lot.

Agreed. The 98-99 ecu's are powerful. Just can beat real time logging, though.

Anyone have a OEM flywheel for a 7 bolt fwd?

Better find a good one. Seems like Noone around here can resurface our flywheels.:notgood:

Be very careful ordering stuff online especially on your smartphone!!! I ordered a oil return line from JNZtuning and just put my credit card info in (using pay pal on my phone is ###) the next morning my bank calls andsays someone in the UK rented a car with my credit card number. 400$ I have to dispute now. I am not blaming JNZ, I just have to be more careful.

Just a word of the wise LOL.

Yeah I try to keep from online orders if possible. I like to deal with someone in person.
I dont think the cracks in my flywheel can be cut out. A couple of them are fairly large and deep, i dont think I trust it. I have seen flywheels fail and it can be very ugly and dangrous.

L7. Has a fwd flywheel. It ain't perfect but it looks a lot better than yours. (I would just by a new lighweight or oem) but that's just me.
