just re-read the thread, and i am assuming you couldn't get it to stop eating belts, that sucks. Guessing you had it reinstalled and it still had the same problems

I'm in the process of researching about the UDP's and considering adding one on my '97 N/T 420a sometime in the future. I've been searching and stumbling upon some websites that have them for sale, and I am looking for brand name items NOT the cheaper ebay pulleys, as I have done some research on some name brands like Af/x and Unorthodox, and I just came upon this one right here.

I am asking you veterans if this one would be a good choice depicting on the brand and quality of the UDP. Correct me if I'm wrong as well and if you all have any opinions on it throw them out for me, I'm here to learn and try. Thanks.

What is so different about the pulleys on a 4g63 compared to the 420a? I can't see how the power steering or alternator pulleys would be any different of a mount up. Thier just a single bolt hole so why couldn't someone use them on the 420a as well.
Can anyone help answer this for me.

The harmonic damper is completely different. Not sure about the alternator or PS, although I'd imagine if you got a different dimension than what it through something off there.

They are completely different engines, nothing is compatible. The 4g63 pullies WILL NOT work on the 420a.

Whats with people lately saying underdrive pulleys on turboed application is a bad idea and it will mess up the balance of the crankshaft?
