are 2.4L motors 6 bolts or 7 bolts???

depends on what crank ya use. im sure most people use 6bolt cranks.

Yeah, I think that Dave99 is right because I know that when stroking a 6bolt block, it is necessary to use the crank from the earlier sonatas and expos/summits. It has a "b" in the name......if you really need info, run a search at RMDSM because lots stroke their motors here at almost 6000ft to combat the thin atmospheric pressure.
