No.
sorry. Let me rephrase. Are 1GB Turbo (7bolt right??) and 2G turbo trannys the same?
The mounts are different, but I am almost positive that a 2g tranny can be used in a 1g car but not the other way around. Because in a 2g the front and rear engine/tranny mounts are on the tranny, on a 1g they are on the engine. So in a 1g you could use the 2g tranny because the mounts on the front and rear of the transmission aren't used. In a 2g with a 1g tranny there would be nowhere to mount the front and rear of the engine because the tranny doesnt have the holes to bolt the mounts to. I am not 100% sure about this, but I have seen 2g trannies in 1g cars.thats what i am looking for.tstkl said:1gb turbo and 2g turbo tranny, i dunno...
